While the original kitchen offered generous square footage, its raised-panel cabinetry, soffits, and segmented finishes made the space feel visually heavy and disconnected. The goal was to create a cleaner, more cohesive design while maximizing storage, improving functionality, and elevating every detail.
Custom cabinetry was designed to extend to the ceiling, eliminating the soffits and creating a stronger architectural presence throughout the room. Rich wood tones bring warmth and depth to the space, while integrated glass display cabinets add balance and visual interest around the sink window. Every cabinet line, reveal, and hardware placement was carefully considered to create a clean, intentional appearance from every angle.
One of the defining features of the remodel is the full-height quartzite backsplash and countertop installation. Rather than relying on traditional tile, large-format quartzite slabs wrap the perimeter of the kitchen, creating a seamless surface with dramatic movement and subtle veining. Precision fabrication and installation were critical to maintaining continuity through corners, window openings, and waterfall details. The result is a striking focal point that immediately elevates the entire room.
